Information you provide directly: When you book a rental or purchase a gift card, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and rental dates. This information is necessary to process your order and ship the camera.
Payment information: All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe retains a payment method on file for damage protection purposes — this is handled entirely by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
Automatically collected information: When you visit our site, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising pixels.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill your camera rental or gift card order
- To send booking confirmation and shipping updates via email
- To contact you about your rental (e.g. return reminders, damage issues)
- To maintain records of transactions for accounting and legal purposes
- To prevent fraud and protect the security of our inventory
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

- Stripe — to process payments and hold a card on file for damage protection
- Shipping carriers — your name and address are shared with the carrier to deliver and return the camera

4. Data Retention
We retain booking records (name, email, rental dates, transaction ID) for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us — we will delete what we are not legally required to retain.

Our site uses only essential session cookies required for the booking flow to function (e.g. Stripe's checkout session). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the checkout process.
